Light Upon A Leaf
Afternoon sunlight cut between the trees, casting a ray upon a single leaf that rose from the earth.
A plant growing beneath the trees is bathed with the sunlight from above.

The last light of the day faded behind the distant mountains, casting a soft, diffused light that was scattered amongst the branches of the cold, still woods.
I have been trying my new D610. The dynamic range in the RAW files is great. The colors of the neutral profile allow for realistic, balanced editing. The shadow and highlight regions are easily recoverable.
This beach is one of my favorite places to photograph landscapes and beach wildlife. A lovely way to end an Easter Sunday.
